John F. Kennedy International Airport, commonly known as New York-JFK, is one of the major international airports serving New York City in the New York Metropolitan area. JFK is the primary hub for American Airlines and Delta Air Lines and a focus city for JetBlue Airways, Eastern Airlines and Polar Air Cargo.

Covering a total area of 5,200 acres, JFK airport features four runways with the designation Rwy 4L/22R, Rwy 4R/22L, Rwy 13L/31R and Rwy 13R/31L.

Delta Air Lines recently published a notice regarding the expansion and transformation of JFK Terminal 4. As per the notice, a US$1.5 billion enhancement project for Terminal 4 has been initiated and all Delta operations will consolidate into Terminal 4 at JFK.

With the transformation project, Terminal 4 will receive a new Delta Sky Club in Concourse A, expanded seating areas and concessions will be built, baggage claim and arrivals section will be updated, new technologies will be installed and more beautifying works will be carried out.

Delta Terminal Map at JFK

As you can observe in the terminal Map above, there are six terminals at JFK arranged in an anti-clockwise direction starting from Terminal 1. Five parking zones named Green Parking, Blue Parking, Yellow Parking, Orange Parking and Red Parking are available near the terminals.

Terminal 2 is located opposite the Green Parking location and Terminal 4 is opposite Blue Parking Zone. Both terminals are accessible via shuttle services, bus, AirTrain or private vehicle. Delta Air Lines operates from Terminals 2 and 4 at JFK Airport.

Delta Terminal JFK Departures

All Delta Air Lines Departure flights are operated from Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 at JFK airport. Codeshare flights labelled as Delta Air Lines are operated from Terminal 1 by airlines sharing codeshare agreements with Delta.

Delta Terminal JFK Arrivals

Like Departures, all Delta Air Lines Arrival flights are handled from JFK Terminals 2 and 4. Terminal 1 is used by airlines having codeshare agreements with Delta to operate codeshare flights labelled as Delta Air Lines.

Delta Terminal JFK Parking

There are five parking locations available at JFK Airport categorized Green Parking, Blue Parking, Yellow Parking, Orange Parking and Red Parking. Green Parking Zone can be found near Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, Blue Parking Zone is opposite Terminal 4, Yellow Parking Zone is near Terminal 5, Orange Parking is opposite Terminal 7 and Red Parking Zone is opposite Terminal 8.

Since Delta Air Lines operates from Terminals 2 and 4 at JFK, you can use the Green Parking or Blue Parking zone for quicker access. Besides, you can also choose Yellow Parking and Orange Parking spaces which are close to Terminals 2 and 4.

Delta Lounge at JFK

Delta Air Lines offers Delta Sky Club at Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 at JFK. Besides, Delta passengers can also have access to Delta’s partner lounges including Korean Airlines Lounge, Air France Lounge and Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.

Delta Sky Clubs are located at Mezzanine Level, Terminal 2 (open daily from 5 am to 9 pm) and Concourse B, near Gate 31(open daily from 5 am to 11:30 pm). 

Korean Airlines Lounge is available at Level 3 of Terminal 1 and is accessible for departing flights only. Delta has partnered with Korean Airlines to offer partner lounge facilities to its passengers. Lounge access may be limited so, Delta passengers must stay updated.

Air France Lounge, another Delta Partner Lounge, is located at the airside near Air France boarding gates. This lounge is also specified for departing flights only and access may be limited.

Likewise, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse is located in Terminal 4 beyond the TSA checkpoint in Concourse A above boarding gates.
