Aegean Inflight Wi-Fi Coverage

The availability of Wi-Fi depends on the following two things Aircraft type and Service Provider. Inmarsat and Deutsche Telekom enable a seamless Internet connection on the entire route network of the Aegean A320neo family via S-band satellite and an LTE-based terrestrial network across Europe. Deutsche Telekom is the Internet service provider (ISP) and is responsible for the commercial processing of the Aegean Wi-Fi onboard Internet services.

All routes operated by an equipped A320/321 neo aircraft will have the Aegean Wi-Fi onboard service available. Currently, the service is available in a limited number of aircraft and the installation on our Neo fleet is in progress.

Connecting to Aegean Inflight Wi-Fi

To connect to Aegean Wi-Fi Onboard, you can use any Wi-Fi-enabled device such as your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Note: It is not possible to use more than one device at a time. You first need to log off on your first device before logging onto a second device.
  • Take your personal device which is in flight mode and activate Wi-Fi.
  • Connect to the “Aegean Wi-Fi” network. If the AEGEAN Wi-Fi onboard portal doesn’t automatically appear on your screen, please open your browser and enter aegeanWiFi.com.
    On the portal’s homepage, you will find all the free entertainment options.
  • Click on the “Connect to Internet” tab and check all the available bundle options. Select the one you prefer, accept the terms and conditions of the service to complete the payment and you’ll be ready to surf.

When Miles+Bonus Gold members reach the 3rd step, they will need to log in with their credentials, in order to use the available free WiFi bundle (Stream).
Business Class passengers and passengers traveling with ComfortFlex should use their booking reference number (PNR) whilst onboard to claim their free bundle (Text & Surf).

Important: Interruptions may occur inflight for various reasons. These may be due to technical or regulatory reasons or simply due to unfavorable weather conditions. The European Aviation Network provides high-speed coverage across all 28 European Union states, plus Norway and Switzerland. However, outside of this area the access to the internet may be limited or not available.

Aegean Inflight Entertainment

The new platform of Aegean Airlines has also been updated with the wifi facilities. Passengers can enjoy from series to news videos, all kinds of music to games and they can even check the flight path and time duration of their destination on the AEGEAN Wi-Fi platform. To enjoy all this amazing content all you have to do is connect to the “AEGEAN Stream” network and choose ‘Stream’ from the main menu. The Aegean stream service is only available on all international flights from/to Athens.

Free Wi-Fi on all flights within Greece

Now, you can experience the Wi-Fi onboard on all domestic flights, when your aircraft is equipped with Wi-Fi technology. Simply, connect to AEGAN Wi-Fi onboard, select the «Free Wi-Fi» package and you have free internet throughout your flight.
The «Free Wi-Fi» package offers internet with a speed of up to 600 Kbps and you have:

  • Instant messaging through chatting apps
  • Basic Web browsing
  • Social media access

Valid for trips within Greece. On flights within Greece, the “Free Wi-Fi” package is the only available package for Wi-Fi onboard.
