Earn Mileage Plan Elite Status

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Elite Status is a loyalty program offered to frequent flyers, and loyal customers. MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75K, and MVP Gold 100K are the four tier levels of the loyalty program.

MVP Gold, Gold 75K, and Gold 100K members can access Alaska Lounge when they travel on a Oneworld member airline to a destination outside of the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Besides, members also get access to Oneworld lounges when traveling somewhere outside of the United States, Canada, or Mexico. 

Purchase Day Passes

Alaska customers can purchase day passes to access Alaska Lounge services. The cost for a day pass is $60 per person. Alaska Airlines Visa cardholders can purchase a day pass for 50% off which is $30.

U.S. military personnel traveling in uniform, and ticketed to fly on an Alaska flight departing within 3 hours to receive a complimentary Alaska Lounge Day pass. In addition to that, active duty military personnel with a valid ID can purchase a day pass at the discounted rate of $30 in all Alaska Lounge locations.

The day pass requirement is one per person however, you can bring children younger than 2 at no charge.

Day passes can be purchased at Alaska Lounge locations, and are valid only at the location of purchase. You can’t purchase a standard day pass in Seattle, Anchorage, or Portland Lounges because Alaska has to maintain space for Lounge members, and other guests.

First Class Lounge Access 

Passengers traveling on a paid First Class, or a First Class award ticket get complimentary access to Alaska Lounge however, there are some conditions. Passengers must be traveling on flights operated by Alaska Airlines where one flight has a distance of at least 2,100 miles.

The lounge access is offered on the day of the flight only including connecting flights less than 2,100 miles. Passengers are required to show their eligible same-day First Class boarding class to the staff to access the Alaska Lounge.
