Avianca, which carries the Colombian flag, is the largest budget airline in Colombia and uses El Dorado International Airport as its main hub.

It offers flights to over 100 locations globally. One of Avianca’s important routes is to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in the United States.

In this blog, we will be discussing the Avianca terminal at JFK, including arrival and departure information, terminal amenities, services, and other relevant topics.

Let’s begin.

What terminal is Avianca at JFK?

John F. Kennedy International Airport, abbreviated as JFK, is a significant international airport that serves the New York City metropolitan area.

American Airlines and Delta Air Lines use JFK as their primary hub, while JetBlue Airways, Eastern Airlines, and Polar Air Cargo use it as a focus city.

The airport spans an area of 5,200 acres and contains four runways: Rwy 4L/22R, Rwy 4R/22L, Rwy 13L/31R, and Rwy 13R/31L.

JFK has six terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 4, Terminal 5, Terminal 7, and Terminal 8. Terminals 3 and 6 were demolished in 2013 and 2011, respectively, and are no longer in use.

At present, Avianca operates from Terminal 4 at JFK Airport, where all AVA arrivals and departures are handled.
